1/2 Prince and SLP Forum News

posted in: Updates | 10

For all members of the 1/2 Prince and Second Life Project forums:

As some of you may be aware of, ipbfree, the site that was being used to host these forums, was recently shut down. A lot of different sources have said that it was for legal reasons (hosting too many forums with illegal content), but as today nothing has been confirmed. Regardless, the end result was that all of the forums hosted on the site were permanently deleted without any warning.

I currently have no new as to what Smerian plans to do about the 1/2 Prince forum. More news will be posted when we have some available. The SLP forum, however, has already been recreated and is up and running, along with a series of new screenshots and examples of artwork that will be in the game. Also, we have a new position that is open for applications: Writer. We’re looking for several talented writers who can convert the 1/2 Prince story into game-format and come up with new quests, areas, content, etc. Applicants must be creative, proficient in grammar, and able to work with a group of other writers. For more information, including how to apply, please refer to the application thread.

The SLP forum can be found here: http://s7.zetaboards.com/SecondLifeProject/

My apologies for the lateness of HP V4C2. It’s up now, along with SK V1C4, but we will do our best to make sure that there are no more delays like that again. In the mean time, on to important matters: recruitment!

Now that the re-organization of PR! had gone pretty well, we are recruiting again! The recruitment for translators and C/E editor is always open, but I thought some advertisement would be good.

As usual, all applicants need to download the set text, translate/edit it and sent their work to princerevolution@rocketmail.com. We will then evaluate your application, and reply to you whether your application is successful or not, usually in a week time =). Continued

We’ve gotten somewhat organized, so now you guys finally get chapters! And I have stuff to proof-read! Good news all around! We started a new system for distributing chapters, and it’s working well so far. We will also start releasing chapters on the first of each month, instead of the eighth, mostly for simplicity’s sake, but maybe it’ll help us out! XD Also, we have a new member! *waves at Kurai* Sadly, Sun Knight won’t be updated until next month, but don’t fret. It’ll be awesome when it does come!

I’m so excited over all this~ And I get out of school…today! Yay! Now I can lounge around my house like a lazy bum, and maybe become nocturnal. Which may have its benefits, since most of the team here is on the exact opposite time zone from me, it seems. Continued

Salutations, everyone.

Due to the overabundance of workload in reality, Erialis has decided to retire from the group. And if you’re wondering who she is, she’s that great person you owe all along for the pleasure of reading the translations of 1/2 Prince and Sun Knight because she had made the effort to start this little group and get the translations going, and we all know the beginning is always the hardest part.  So let us wish her all the best!

As Eri has left, we’re still trying to sort out what to do with the site, who’s doing what and such. Yes, this also means that updates will be delayed (again). We sincerely apologize for those who have been waiting.

Anyway, please stay tune for our next news update. Erihppas signing out.

Hello everyone! First off, thanks for your patience in concerns to updates. I’m afraid that the next ones will be delayed a bit longer, but PrinceRev! has not been disbanded and is still up and running.

In the mean time, there’s also another project that I myself am working on: The Second Life Project. The project is an RPG video game version of 1/2 Prince, made with RPG Maker VX. You can find more information, including more Continued
