Lu Yang put away his cell phone and looked toward the person on the other side of the dining table, a bit happy and a bit frustrated.

“Is Classmate Jiang okay?” the man asked in concern.

“Yeah, he’s beyond okay. He even joined a supernatural studies society. I can’t believe him. Does he feel that there hasn’t been enough ‘supernatural’ stuff happening to him?”

The man smiled a bit, his green eyes and foreign face making him look rather charismatic, with features that were startling similar to Lu Yang’s, who sat across from him.

“Dad, tell me the truth. Will Mom really be able to return in the next few days?”

Lewis, whose Chinese name was Liu Yishi, was apologetic as he smiled and said, “Most likely not. I hear that the coffins in the tomb aren’t in good condition. Your mom will have to spend a lot of time just going over how to deal with that with the team on site. That’s not even considering how to actually solve the problem.”

Lu Yang stared at the roasted duck he had reserved as it sat on the table. Frustration simmered underneath his skin. He had originally thought that they would have a nice meal together as a whole family, so he had specifically made a reservation for a booth at this famous restaurant. He had been afraid they would sell out on the roasted duck, so he had reserved an entire duck, a huge one! And yet, his mom had not returned, and his grandpa had left in a fuss because of her ditching them, and his grandma could only follow after him to calm him down. He couldn’t return the duck he had already ordered, so now they could only eat an entire fat duck with just the two of them, filling his stomach with duck grease.

Hello everyone, and hello October~

Now that No Hero v6 has wrapped up, we will be releasing the next set of No Hero side stories, a three part story called “Good Child, Bad Child” that focuses on Ah Ye’s daily life. Part Two and Three will come next month!

Congratulations to our winners of the Ultimate 1/2 Prince Test—chizuru, thebookgirl, AB, Seiren, and sandoura! What a feat to score so high! Three prizes have already been distributed, with the two others being worked on. Look forward to your prizes. :D

Just recently, we had some new recruits join us! Thank you for heeding our call for translators. While the effect won’t be obvious with our current releases, I expect there will be less scrambling to meet our deadlines behind the scenes, which will ease a lot of the pressure! Expect to see some new names pop up in our credits as well.

That said, our translation positions are always open, and while we have some new recruits joining us for DE, the NH side is still quite lacking. We welcome help for any of our series (but especially NH right now) even if it’s only for a chapter~. So why not submit an application and give it a shot? ;) It’d probably be a good idea for us to whip up a new recruitment post, but this one has worked pretty well so far, so I’ll link it again.

Last month, Roland came out as the victor of the dark creature battle. I suppose congratulations are in order. Good job, Roland!

This month, the poll is about tying up chickens, thanks to Half Sauce Half Fried! As DE has illuminated for us, trussing up a chicken takes a lot of strength~

Though now that I thought about it, wasn’t I the one who had stayed home back then, and yet still got kidnapped by the bird? In the apocalypse anything could happen. An abnormal mouse might have bitten her life away.

Junjun explained what happened to those college students in further detail.

“I told Su Ying to hide in her room and avoid coming out, so as to prevent Dàgē killing her as well. The same with Ding Jun. Everyone told him to try staying out of Dàgē’s sight.”

What? Don’t tell me that this means that Chen Qianru died under Dàgē’s hands?

What the hell happened here? I really don’t understand. Although Dàgē is not the type that would be lenient toward a pretty girl, he is definitely not the type that would kill for no reason, let alone a woman who didn’t even have the strength to truss up a chicken. He still tolerated woman just a bit more than men.

“Why would Dàgē want to obliterate those college students?” I couldn’t understand even after pondering over this for the nth time. Asking would be much faster.
