Update: October 2011 – New Members and a Tournament
October 2011 Chapters
Just the way a T-Rex chomps down on a steak, we—ok, this analogy isna working out the way I had planned to, and it’s probably giving you the wrong image of PR Staff… So let’s scrap that eh? This is Nabs here, one of the proofreaders that you don’t know exists, even though you’ve probably read the one other update I made (Yes, I know my output isna miraculous), so Hi Hi~~ *waves* So, this time I have news. Now this news can be classified into two categories (and as your Maitre d’ tonight, I suggest that you go for the latter): Good or Great. Wait for it……………………………………………………………………………….WE HAVE NEW MEMBERS ZOMG!
As the result of opening up our recruitment again (Who are we kidding, translator slots are almost always open ^u^), we have new proofreaders and translators. Our proofreaders in the limelight tonight are Null, Icarus, Arcedemius, Xan, and Satoshi, and to join them are our new translators: Hyotai, Asmodea, Nausicaa, Azakura, and Bleachpanda! *clap* Give them a big hand everyone, even though theyv’e been here such a (comparatively) short time, they’ve already grown on me like cute chibi barnacles ^u^ Please be good to them, they’ll be a large factor in you reading your Yu Wo goodies… Oh, and don’t forget to feed them some brownies once in a while and scratch them behind the ears… They seem to like that as well ^u^
Now onto a different topic: Some really smart, observant (bored maybe?) readers of ours noticed that somehow our releases have been following a pattern of 1 HP chappie, 2 LSK chappies; 2 HP chappies, 1 LSK chappie. Now, I am here to reveal to you a biiiiiiiiiiiigggg secret: it was pure coincidence folks~~ As much as I would like to believe that the PR Staff bosses (Boss and Eili-Chan) are trying to hide some Illuminati symbolism or something along those lines, there’s no such luck (Alas, us young geniuses… actually, I shouldna include myself in there… I’m a proofreader and I never noticed the pattern -____-;;) So erm yeah… where was I? Oh yeah, guys, there’s no pattern, so be on the lookout for whatever wild chappies we release (gotta catch ‘em all~). And now I’ll hand you over to much more capable typing fingers (Oops, almost typed gingers there) for a real treat for you guys. Laters chya~~ (*^u^*)/~
—EvlNabiki
Hello guys! We’ve got a special new treat for our readers: We’re going to be hosting a 1/2 Prince vs Legend of the Sun Knight character tournament! Not sure what such a thing is? Basically, it’ll be our version of Second Life’s Adventurers’ Tournament. Each month we’ll pair two characters together, one from HP and one from LSK, and ask, “In a fight between these two, who would win and why?” You, our lovely readers, will get to vote on who would win and at the end of the month we’ll tally up all the votes and announce the winner. We’ll be doing this in tournament style, so winners will proceed to the next round for further battles.
Next month we’ll release the tournament brackets and begin the first fight. In the mean time, we present the following question: What should be the offical title of the tournament? In two weeks we’ll put everything you guys come up with a poll so you can vote on the name!
Happy reading!

Update: September 2011
September 2011 Chapters
Hello everyone, sorry for the disaster last month. Hopefully this month will be much smoother when we get all the new proof-readers in >_< There’s nothing much to update here, except that there will be three chapter releases this month: 2 HP and 1 LSK.
From what I have gathered in the comments, most people aren’t annoyed at the speed of the releases, they are more annoyed at the lack of update that the release are going to be slow. I apologize for this, we will post something on the site to alert you all if we are going to be slow again >_< And thank you all for the supportive comments!
Lastly, we have over 20 applications for the proof readers now….can we have some applications for translators too? *puppy eyes* We have a few chapters stored away for steady releases…but with the speed we are releasing now, they aren’t going to be enough. So… Translators! Come on! Apply! =D
—Eilinel
As Eili said, thanks so much for all the applications! Due to the sheer amount and quality of the ones we’ve gotten so far, we’ve decided to close the position to applications tomorrow, instead of in a week and a half. So if you’d still like to apply, do so within the next 24 hours!
—S.R.
Sorry, sorry!
First off, we apologize for the extreme delay in this month’s chapters! The first half of HPV5C6 is up now and we promise to have the second half and the LSK chapters up in the next two days.
We are in desperate need of more editors! As such, the English Proof-reader position has opened up once more and we’re looking for 2-3 new members. Head on over to the recruitment page for more details! We’ll be accepting applications for the next two weeks, until September 13th.
On another note, we hope to have more volume compilations for LSK and HP up within the next month or two.
Happy reading!

Update: August 2011 – New LSK Calendar and SLP Update
August 2011 Chapters
Greetings!
First of all, thank you to everyone so far who has bought a doujin! If the North American sales go just as well, we’ll hopefully be able to convince YukiSora to print the second volume in English.
We have some more exciting news this month: YukiSora also has a 2011 & 2012 The Legend of Sun Knight calendar up for sale. She’s willing to start selling them to all of our readers, including those in North and South America. It’s a total of fourteen B5 size pages, all in full color. Here is the cover and slice samples of the pages:

These calendars are being sold for $5 USD each and there’s a shipping discount if you are ordering it with a doujin. Unfortunately, doujin orders for North America still aren’t available, but they should be within this month. You can find the order form up on the menu bar or here: http://www.princerevolution.org/orderform/
Also, for those of you who wanted to wait for more volumes to save on shipping, we have some relatively bad news. Because of the weight of the doujin and the weight classes that shipping is based on, shipping two or more doujin at one time costs pretty much the same as shipping them separately, so unfortunately shipping bulk won’t save you much. Shipping bulk does however mean that there’s less chance of anything happening to your package along the way—but we’re using registered post which means that your order is insured anyway =] Along with the fact that we can’t guarantee that there will be more volumes… We leave the decision up to you, we do recommend that you check out the prices now and see whether it will be cheaper for you to buy now or later, based on what country you are in.
As a side note to that, shipping in the United States will be cheaper in bulk; the above passage is mainly for international shipping.
Second Life Project, the 1/2 Prince video game project, has a new position opening up. Check out the information below and, if you’re interested, please apply! You can view the full application thread here.
Map Artists
A map artist is someone who puts together a fundamental part of the game: what the world actually looks like. The only requirement for this position is the ability to use photoshop. No drawing is required, merely the use of copying, pasting, and an interest in design. You will have a hundreds of images like this:
And you will use them to put together “maps” like this (click image to enlarge):
All resources will be provided for you; you just need to put things together.
To apply:
- Download this base map and resource images folder.
- Create your example map by taking images from the resources and putting them in the base map. IMPORTANT: Put up a 32 x 32 pixel grid in the .psd file while you work (if you don’t know how to do this, google how to change guides, grids, and slices). The player moves arond on 32 pixel squares, so furniture and walls must be similarly arranged so that the player can easily walk around them. For example, look at this map of an outpost with a highlighted grid and see how items are placed. You can see Prince near the entrance, to give you an idea of the size of the player in comparison.
- Upload the .png image file of your finished map to an image hosting site such as photobucket or imageshack.
- Email us at [email protected] with the link to your example map. Please include a bit of information about how much time you have to work on the project and why you’d like to join!
If you have any questions about anything, just ask!

Update: July 2011
July 2011 Chapters
Hello everyone!
We have good news for those of you who live outside the US: YukiSora, the doujin artist, has received her copies of the doujin. She has agreed to handle the shipping for all non-US buyers, so we’re opening ordering for you! If you would like to buy copy of the doujin, head on over to this page. The final price Yuki decided on is $9 USD, plus $2-3 for shipping.
For our US readers, sorry but you’ll still have to wait one more month. The 50 copies that are being sent to us will be just for US readers though, so you don’t have to worry about us running out of stock =]
(And for any new readers, you can find more information about the doujin here.)
This month we’ve update the Fan Creations section with a couple new submissions. In the Fanfiction Gallery we have a new story from chicaalterego called Knight Apprentice’s Journal that they have dedicated to PR!, so go check it out! In the Fanart Gallery there are two new images from larka1121, Fire Pheonix and Meatbun and The Knights Meet. There’s also a preview image for Blique’s fanvideo Rainbow Love Letters. You can follow the link on that video or go ahead and watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LwQDX9AlSQ.
On that note, we’re actually working on putting up a separate Video Gallery in Fan Creations. With luck it’ll be up sometime this month, so if you have anything you’d like to submit, be on the look out for another update!
As mentioned in another post last month, we also badly need Chinese/English editors! For that reason we’re temporarily shutting down translator applications until we get caught up with editing. If you’d like to translate, feel free to apply for C/E editor and request to be moved to translating later on.
Happy reading!
