No Hero Volume 4: The Ancient Vampire Castle

Original novel in Chinese by: 御我(Yu Wo)

The Lost Files of the Ancient Castle Chapter 1: Dragon Peace, the First Wind Blows Past—translated by Raylight (proofread by elisa & Trespasserby; C/E edited by lucathia)

An Xiang Ye really is Dark Sun!

Since I’m in the same class as him, it’s not as if I’ve never suspected him before. After all, silver hair is simply too rare.

However, both Leanna and Abner refused to consider the possibility. They said that they always see An Xiang Ye studying earnestly in class every day, unlike me, who sleeps in practically every class. If he was actually Dark Sun, he would have to go out to patrol every night. Since he’s so active at night, he wouldn’t be able to attend classes earnestly like that during the daytime.

I agreed with them. To go out patrolling every night was simply too tiring. If it weren’t for Leanna and Abner, who always drag me to school, I would probably skip classes nine out of ten days.

Therefore, An Xiang Ye, who always scores full marks on tests, hands in reports that are as thick as a book, and never sleeps in class, should not be Dark Sun.

In the end, he really did end up being Dark Sun.

According to Charles-gē, once An Xiang Ye returns home, the first thing that he does is complete his homework. Then, he gives his brother a call and talks. Some days, he modifies machines, which is his hobby. Then, he goes to sleep at ten, and wakes up at five to go running… What kind of life is this?

If something were to happen at night, he would still become Dark Sun and go out to resolve the issue… Doesn’t he need to sleep?

I believe that An Xiang Ye is not merely Dark Sun. In fact, he’s practically an alien!

Dominion’s End Volume 2: Aberrant City

Original novel in Chinese by: 御 我 (Yu Wo)

Prologue: Behind the Door—translated by Elkin (proofread by EvlNabiki and Arcedemius; C/E edited by lucathia)

Aberrants like the five that had transmuted from humans into dog-shaped aberrants were actually quite commonplace. Of course, this was referring to my previous life. This was probably because the animal most people were familiar with was the domestic dog, so that was why so many people turned into dog-type aberrants.

Later, these aberrants would evolve into a tribe known as the Dog People. They were widely feared, not for their strength, but for their tendency to move in packs. Whenever you encountered them, there was never only one, nor was it just a matter of one or two dozen. There would at least be one or two hundred!

But I’d only ever heard about the Dog People. If I had encountered them back then, I would probably have become Jiang Shuyu much earlier. Then again, if Jiang Shuyu hadn’t been hit on the head by a tile, would he still have woken up as Guan Weijun?

In my original world, after Jiang Shuyu had been hit on the head, did he ever wake up…?

“Shuyu!”

No Hero V4C1: Rest in Peace, the Audiobooks are Back (April Fools Version)

Many readers were enraged and dismayed that we did not replace our text chapters with audiobooks back in 2012. After listening to your feedback, we have decided to reconsider our stance on the matter. We sincerely hope you enjoy this drama CD-style reenactment of No Hero V4C1.

Disclaimers: There were some complaints previously about characters not receiving their own individual voice actors, which has been fixed in this rendition. To improve flow and retain listeners’ interest, some liberties were taken with the chapter to create a script better suited for a drama CD-type recording. There may be some discrepancies between the recording and the script itself. Voice cracks were purely accidental and not masterfully timed to incite rage.

Voice Actors: Ah Da (clrfction), Ah Ye (EvlNabiki), Aren (Trespasserby), Bramble (Lala Su), Briar (raylight), Charles (Nimue), Curtis (Elisa), Dell (AkaiiRia), Ji Luo Chu (lucathia), May (Amgine), Melody (Kiyutsuna), Narrator (Elisa/Dahlys)

Special thanks given to Elkin for adapting the chapter into a script and Dahlys for compiling all the voices and sound effects together. There were a lot of files.
